Afyonkarahisar Governor Gökmen Çiçek emphasized that he consciously addressed the participants of the “Mysterious City Afyonkarahisar International Investment Congress” as “brothers.” Governor Çiçek said, “I deliberately use the word 'brothers.' We are the children of the same community, believing in the same Prophet. If you invest here, you will see not a governor but a brother in front of you.”
The Mysterious City Afyonkarahisar International Investment Congress began yesterday morning at Korel Thermal Hotel, with participants from 27 countries. The three-day event was attended by notable figures, including Governor Gökmen Çiçek, former Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Prof. Dr. Veysel Eroğlu, AK Party MPs İbrahim Yurdunuseven and Fatma Varank, Mayor Mehmet Zeybek, and many others from academia, business, and government.
Following a moment of silence and the Turkish national anthem, a promotional video about Afyonkarahisar was screened, followed by speeches from dignitaries.
