Turkey’s Defense Industry Exports Reach $3.6 Billion in First Half of 2025 — Momentum Continues with $623 Million in June Alone

In a remarkable demonstration of growth and global competitiveness, Turkey's defense and aerospace industry exported a total of USD 3.603 billion in the first six months of 2025 — a 25% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
According to data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), June 2025 alone accounted for USD 623 million in exports, marking a 10.4% year-on-year increase. These figures not only reflect Turkey’s expanding defense production capabilities but also underline the sector’s growing influence in international markets.

The monthly performance in 2025 has been consistently strong:

February: $434 million (44% increase YoY)
March: $884.2 million

Statement from the Presidency of Defense Industries
Haluk Görgün, President of the Defense Industry Agency (SSB), stated via his social media account that:
"These numbers are not just dry statistics; they are the visible results of a visionary architecture of development. Our defense industry continues to rise as a symbol of technological independence and international trust."
He also emphasized that total defense exports in the last 12 months reached USD 7.454 billion, a 23.1% increasecompared to the previous 12-month period.
